At the end of training at an Australian rules football club, you may hear the coach call for shirts versus skins game where half the players go shirtless in a scratch match. That tradition continues in Versus series events, which have restricted selection to pit one group of players against another.
This series is run much the same way as the Origin mode, with your team restricted in its selection to players on each side of the event theme playing PvE matches against teams from the other side of the restriction.
You get three chances to beat each opponent to progress to the next, and you only earn event points for the matches you win. Bonus points can come from meeting certain targets during the match. Progress is reset each day.
