You are the coach of your own Australian rules football club, but you also have other powers to direct choices in other parts of the business off the field as well as on matchday. Your experience is measured by your coach accreditation level, which is upgraded through earning development points (DP).
Your coach level is particularly important because after level 10 you unlock the Club area. You are given a salary cap to hire and fire staff so that your players can be the best versions of themselves they can be… and the cap is raised when you go up a level. Crucially, you only get one chance per level to change your staffing mix, unless you receive a special item to make a change at your convenience.
Your players will not be able to operate at high levels of skill, apply their strongest physical abilities or make use of their best talents unless you have a high coach accreditation level. Other staff give you bonuses in various parts of the game, including the gacha system for collecting new cards.
