Carnival

Carnivals have been a part of Australian rules football for decades, and in Mr Football it has evolved into a pick up round robin series with six teams playing home & away matches.

This series is run much in the same way as the Grade mode, where you play away games against each of your opponents and wait for them to play away against you. Your teams are locked out of entering more than one carnival at a time. You do not face any opponent more than once per day. As a round robin, if you lose a match you keep on playing until you run out of opponents and must wait for the carnival to end, either in an hour’s time or when all 25 matches have been played.

Event points are awarded for wins, but bonus points can also come from beating a higher-ranked team or meeting certain targets during the match. Ranking lowly on the carnival ladder loses you event points, which means that even though entry to a carnival is free you can’t just keep piling up points by entering again and again with a poor team.
