Tokens are used to improve players instantly and unlock game features. Among the tokens available in the game:
- Trainer tokens are a big part of the game as they can be used to bypass the need for players to pay matches to gain experience – they are used on the List page to add experience directly;
- Club tokens give you an extra opportunity to change your club staffing levels beyond the one per level normally allocated – this is important in the late game when coach levels don’t change much;
- Star tokens upgrade one player card to the next highest star rating – these can only be bought for fame and come in two-, three-, four-, and five-star versions denoting the target rating;
- Wheel tokens give you one free spin on the Wheel of Football;
- Faction tokens add to your Faction’s point tally on the way to levelling up;
- Coach tokens allow you to change your coach name (username).
