While there is one event per week in Mr Football, every so often there will also be a series of events which are connected to become an Epic mega-event. This is not technically an event in itself, but each of the events in the Epic enable the biggest bonuses to particular featured cards which can be earned through playing the events, including new Legend cards which are available in event packs and as top tier event prizes.
Placing highly in Epic events is the best way to build your Legend collection, so competition will be fierce among those who want to do well in Faction play and make other parts of the game easier. Event packs are available in Recruitment in the lead up to the events in an Epic, so that while you may earn cards of featured players during the event, you may buy event packs to achieve Complete versions of those cards by the time the event opens to maximise their performance.
It is not necessary to place highly in Epic events to succeed in the game. Coaches can participate and earn enough rewards to make it worth their time regardless, to fuel their activities in different modes.
