In most games you can name yourself whatever you like, and that is also true of your username in Mr Football. However, for the team your control you must choose your home base from the screen accessed through clicking on your team shield on the home page.
Once you choose the post code you want by clicking on each number to rotate through, choose from a list of real Australian place names as your home town or suburb. Then choose your team colours, jumper design and mascot from the options provided.
Ground rationalisation is still a thing in the Mr Football world, however, so you can only choose your home ground from two options depending on your home state. This will affect your PvP games by giving you a home ground advantage in game, albeit not against other teams from your home state. Of course, you will also suffer playing away games from teams who enjoy their HGA while you don’t.
