You are the coach of an Australian rules football club, in an alternate timeline where attempts to build a national competition failed in the 1980s, and the concept of leagues was discredited to the point where all state leagues were abandoned in favour of a more decentralised sport.
It is our time, but a different time. Ross Oakley failed. There is no national league. Footy is strong, but it has to fight for fans town by town. You are the new head coach of a small club with lots of talent. You alone have the power to build a champion team.
